Event Missions
1Up Platinum Cup exclusive event missions
Four event missions will appear during the 1Up Platinum Cup. In the fourth week, all four missions will be available simultaneously. Players can gain an amazing 250% of normal experience from these event missions! The item drop rates will also be boosted by 20%.
Parum mission: Invisible Road (1 to 4 players)
10/19/2007 – 10/26/2007 and 11/9/2007 – 11/16/2007
Your intuition will be tested in this mission, as you’re presented with a series of choices. The paths you choose may be shortcuts, or roundabout routes – but your inner voice will have to tell you where to go.
Moatoob mission: United Front (2 to 4 players)
10/19/2007 – 10/26/2007 and 11/9/2007 – 11/16/2007
Your friendship will be tested in this mission, as you face difficult traps that require the cooperation of two or even three people to overcome. Work together to get past the numerous challenges with your friendship intact!
Neudaiz mission: Deadly Brilliance (1 to 4 players)
10/26/2007 – 11/2/2007 and 11/9/2007 – 11/16/2007
Your endurance will be tested in this mission, as you must withstand wave after wave of powerful hordes of enemies. Show your determination and skills to fight them off! You can also take a quick breather on the Floader watercraft.
GUARDIANS Colony mission: Elements of Unrest (1 to 4 players)
11/2/2007 – 11/16/2007
Your luck will be tested in this mission. Make luck work for you, and get a high score! Depending on your fortunes, you may be caught up in a Megid storm, or encounter fewer creatures than usual -- and the length of the mission itself may change as well.
Partner characters make appearances during event missions!
In the latter half of the event missions, you may see partner characters as they make an appearance to help with combat and give you hints to help you through the mission.
Depending on the character, you may see changes in rare creature appearance rates, too!
High scores unlock bonus missions!
If you do well in an event mission, you can continue on to a bonus mission. The event missions are exciting, but the bonus missions are even more exhilarating! The creatures have only one-fourth the normal hit points, and the item drop rate is 500% of normal! Mow your way through as many enemies as time allows!
Exchange for items at the Items Trading Post!
Talk to Hal in the club on the third floor of the GUARDIANS Colony to go to the Items Trading Post, and see Shane Bettenhausen from 1Up.com! Collect Rappy feathers in the event missions, and exchange them for various items.
