"Shred the Darkness" Event Terms of Participation

The Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus "Shred the Darkness" Rules of Participation (hereafter Rules) are the conditions for participation in the Shred the Darkness in-game event (hereafter Event) within the Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus service offered by SEGA Corporation (hereafter Sega) and supplement the Terms of Service.
Please read and understand the Rules before participating in the Event. -
- To be eligible to participate in the Event, the player must be able to play Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus while the Event is active.
- Sega may change, stop or cancel the Event at its sole discretion.
- During the Event, Sega may post "account numbers," "character names" and "party names" of participating players (hereafter Participants) to the Website or magazines in the form of rankings or any other medium, method or form to be determined by Sega at its sole discretion.
- If Sega determines any of the above names to be inappropriate, Sega may take steps such as altering the names, or removing the listing from the rankings. Also, Sega will be under no obligation to list any Participant in the rankings.
- In-game items (hereafter Items) may be awarded to Participants in the Event based on rankings or other conditions.
- Sega will not accept any complaints or appeals regarding the determination of prize recipients.
- If a prize recipient is determined to have engaged in improper behavior during the Event, an adjustment of rankings and/or stripping of awarded Items may occur.
- Please see the Website for details on the conditions for awarding prizes, conditions for receiving items and limitations on awards.
- In the event that the following prohibited activities are observed, Sega may take steps against the offending Participant such as rescinding awards and/or participation rights in the Event. Moreover, if prohibited activities are observed after a prize has been awarded, Sega may rescind the award and/or strip awarded Items.
- Activities that violate the Rules.
- Making disparaging remarks about Sega or Participants in the Event, or taking action to obstruct normal operation of services
- Disseminating in-game strategy information that relies on exploits.
- Creating or disseminating fraudulent data.
- Using indecent, discriminatory, violent or obscene expressions in a "character name," "party name" or similar usage.
