Go for it! Defeat 100million creatures!

The Maximum Attack event you know from Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst is back for Phantasy Star Universe! We'll need the help of every player out there to defeat the swarms of invading creatures until we reach our 100 million creature goal!

This is no ordinary event. For starters, you'll be earning 2.5 times the experience points. Rare drop rates have been increased by 2.5 times, too! This is your chance to get your hands on some of those rare items!

Event Duration

Event Duration The event will begin after the scheduled maintenance on Friday, August 1 2008, and will last until the scheduled maintenance on Friday, August 22 2008.

Event Features

You might just run into some familiar heroes!
Trade for valuable items!
1. Take a trip down memory lane as familiar stages return
PSO fields make a return in virtual space! The forest, caves, and mine stages are back! Plus, you might just run into some familiar heroes!
2. Juicy event missions
Experience points and item drop rates will be increased 2.5 fold! Not only that, creatures will have lower hit points than normal!
3. Big rewards await!
Everyone will have to work together in order to open the panels! When the number of defeated creatures in the "Maximum Attack G" mission reaches certain totals, the secret panels will be opened! What is the final secret hidden beneath the encryption!?
4. Trade event items for rare items!
You can trade "Weapons Badges" collected during the event for valuable items that can only be obtained here! You might see familiar weapons from Phantasy Star Online, or good old Sega hardware!
5. Shoot for a higher ranking, or try to hit the counter!
New rankings make their debut! Something special awaits top-ranked players, as well as players who make lucky numbered kills in the overall kill counter!

Event Mission

From the flood of data samples discovered on Rykros, Professor Tomrain has recovered a battle simulation program called "Maximum Attack." Although the professor has been able to use modern technology to successfully restore the program, he's determined that there is a final layer of encryption that can only be unlocked by running the program itself and defeating 100 million creatures within the simulation...
To do this, he has requested the cooperation of the GUARDIANS.

Rewards

Secret panels for rewards based on creature totals

We'll be keeping track of the number of creatures everyone has destroyed. When certain totals are reached, the "SECRET" panels on the main page of the website will be opened! There will be a variety of in-game bonuses! All Guardians need to work together to open those panels!

  • The in-game bonuses will be distributed or implemented after the Maximum Attack G event ends. Details will be announced after the end of the event.

Important notes

  • 2nd event will begin after the scheduled maintenance on Friday,August 1 2008, and will last until the scheduled maintenance on Friday, August 22 2008.We will call the event by May 23 2008 as "1st event".
  • 2nd event is available for all users.
  • Number of total defeating will inherit from 1st event.
  • And "Hit the Counter" information will be inherited as well.
  • Due to inheriting the result of 1st event, panel awards which are reached in 2nd event will be available to all users who participated in both events.
  • "Kill Ranking" and "Time Attack Ranking" will be reset when starting 2nd event.
  • Item rewards to top rankers will be available in both 1st and 2nd event separately.

Important notes

  • Please read the event terms of participation before playing.
  • After an event mission has begun, depending on the progression of the event, the ability to join a mission in progress may be restricted.
  • If a player's participation time in a trial is less than 80% of the total mission time, the number of creatures defeated will not be added to that player's individual total at the end of the mission.
  • If a player's participation time in a trial is less than 80% of the total mission time, you cannot get "hit the counter".
  • If you progress in a mission with a partner character or partner machine, event-based partner characters will be unable to join you.
